"I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." (John 10:9)

In a world teeming with noise and choices, the Lord Jesus Christ tells us that there is only one way and one door that restores the better life we were created to live, a life filled with true peace and steadfast values. We restore the relationship through reconciliation between God and humanity, and thus reconciliation between humanity and itself, and humanity and others. A life based on our personal relationship with God the Creator.

The Lord Jesus Christ declares Himself with complete clarity: "I am the door." He is not an ordinary door, but the door of life, the door of salvation, the door of safety. We have never heard of anyone telling us that He Himself is the door to salvation, the way. All who came before Christ Jesus our Lord pointed to the way, but the Lord Jesus alone               said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6).                                          The Lord also tells us about the shepherd and the sheep, depicting the fold for us and making us recognize the difference between the good shepherd and the thief. Then He clearly declares, “I am the good shepherd,” and “I am the door.” Whoever enters—that is, whoever chooses to be one of My sheep will find life and escape the wages of sin. He will find pasture and be one of My people, under My protection and shelter. He will enjoy true rest and peace, where there is no fear of the enemy who steals peace, tranquility, and life, because the good shepherd will not allow him to do so.

What do these words mean to us today!?

We live in a volatile time, where even the news can change from one hour to the next. We live in an age where possibilities and ways to take care of oneself abound, yet people lack inner peace and experience states of turmoil and psychological instability!!!

However, there is one quiet, comforting voice saying to you, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) It is the same one who said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. I am the door."

The Lord Jesus stands at the door of your heart, knocking quietly. His voice may come to you through this meditation today as you recall the concerns of your life and your personal troubles. He is waiting for you to open the door of your heart to Him and respond to His call.

Come and listen to His voice today, and enter through His door with confidence, for He rejects no one. Rather, He is waiting for you to begin a new journey with you and a renewed life with Him by your side forever..

The door is open… Will you enter?
 Prayer

Lord, I know you are waiting for me to come to you. I know you want me to be one of your people. I have always postponed the decision, but today, I want to return to your embrace, place all my trust in you, and begin a new journey in which you are my path and my life. I thank you, Lord, for you are the good shepherd who sacrificed himself for me and still lovingly awaits me until I step forward and enter the door that leads me to eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Thank you for touching my heart and hearing my prayer. Amen.
